In 1992, I left Alaska and headed for Czechoslovakia. But during a brief stop in Indiana to visit family, I broke my back in a cliff-diving accident. Forced to stay in a back brace for six weeks, I had little to do execpt hang out at the Slippery Noodle Inn in Indianapolis. When my friend Todd Scott joined the Navy and was ordered to report to basic training in Pensacola, Flordia, I offered to drive him down. One last road trip for two old high school friends. This photo was taken in some coastal town in July 1992.
